Byron

Dr. Byron Brown was called to FBCME as our Associate Pastor in July, 2007. In March, 2008, he was called as our Senior Pastor. Growing up in Southwest Oklahoma, Pastor Byron graduated from the University of Oklahoma. He married his college sweetheart, Kim, and they have 3 children: William, David, and Elizabeth. He received his Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, and his Doctorate of Ministry from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX.

He enjoys playing racquetball, cycling, watching old westerns, and playing strategy games. In addition to cheering for the best college football team on the planet (Boomer Sooner!), he cherishes time with his family. Pastor Byron believes he is blessed to be a part of a loving church family, all serving our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ!
