Sundays 9:15 am (Kindergarten through 6th Grade)

252 Basics is built around three Basic Truths every child should embrace: 1. I need to make the wise choice, 2. I can trust God not matter what, and 3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated. Each Basic Truth is amplified by a weekly key concept.

Wisdom: I need to make the wise choice so i will...

     1. trust and follow Jesus

     2. spend time getting to know God.

     3. do whatever God says.

     4. discover God's unique plan for my life.

Faith: I can trust God no matter what because...

     1. He is my Creator.

     2. He is my Father.

     3. He is my Guide.

     4. He is my Savior.

Friendship: I should treat others the way I want to be treated so i will...

     1. show God's love to those around me.

     2. care enough to put others before me.

     3. respect whoever God puts over me.

     4. be the right friend to those beside me.

Every lesson has three components:

Plug In: Focus the Energy (small group)

Plug In is designed to introduce the children to the day’s topic in a setting that gives them individualized attention from their Small Group Leader and plenty of interaction with a small group of peers.

Power Up: Engage the Heart (large group)

Power Up is designed to engage children in worship in a large group setting. Music, prayer, and an innovative approach to the Bible story are always a part of this interactive time.

Catch On: Make the Connection (small group)

Catch On is designed to help kids understand how the day’s topic applies to them. They’ll discuss real-life experiences, interact with a close-knit group of peers, and participate in a variety of activities that appeal to different learning styles. Life-application and memory-verse activities, as well as prayer, are always a part of this hands-on time.

Fridge Door Cards are a weekly update for parents that give them the virtue, memory verse, bible story, bottom line, and a question for kids and parents to talk about on the way home from church.

God Time Cards are four weekly devotions to focus kids’ attention as they spend time reading the Bible and talking to God at home.

FamilyTimes Virtue Packs provide activities to be used once a week during each of these four family times – meal time, drive time, bed time, and morning time. These are designed to give parents simple ways to help their kids grow in faith and character. FamilyTime Virtue Packs are available for $12.00 monthly.
