Children's Church

Sundays 10:30 am

Because we believe at FBCME that parents should be the primary influence on their children’s spiritual formation, with the church coming alongside as a resource, support, and to help equip parents in this role, our children’s church program provides take home family pages to give parents the opportunity to engage their children in conversation and discussion at home.

The curriculum we use is designed to meet the needs of children of all learning styles and to capture their attention through multi-sensory  teaching. Our desire is to connect kids to Jesus in fun, interactive, and imaginative ways.

Starting in September 2011, we will be visiting Faith Studios for 12 weeks.

Lights. Camera. Action. Welcome to Faith Studios, a place where kids learn about faith from the heroes of Hebrews 11. Join Director Stephen Speilword and his crew each week as they tackle the ins and out of movie making. Guess the Movie Treat, act out the Screen Play (Bible story), place a star on the Walk of Faith, experiment with Movie Science, learn from On the Set object lessons, play Action Games, draw and write Storyboards, hear Faith in Action stories, watch old fashioned Silent Movies, eat yummy make-your-own Movie Treats, create a fun craft in Design Studios and take home a Faith Family Studios one page magazine with fun things to do at home.

Family Faith Studio Lesson 1

Children's Church is designed for Kindergarten through 3rd grade. It is vital to have parent involvement in children's church, so we encourage parents to sign up to assist the teachers and children on a rotational basis. If you would like to be a part of the parent rotation, please email Tammy Middleton.
